The National Museum of Qatar will host Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You: a new large-scale immersive video installation by internationally renowned Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist (b. 1962). 

Commissioned by Qatar Museums, the installation invites visitors to embark on a journey of self-discovery through a multisensory experience that inspires introspection and self-reflection. The work features “pixels” that comprise 12,000 LED lights strung on cables throughout the gallery for visitors to navigate. Representing neurons, constantly firing and communicating with each other, like the human brain that is constantly processing emotions and thoughts. This installation also shed light on topics of mental health that we need to address in a systematic manner. Click here for more information.
