Qatar has a lot of fan zones in key locations of the country where world cup fans will enjoy several concerts, performances, food outlets, and more, all in the name of the grand football celebration!

Following are the fan zones in Qatar during the world cup:

Doha Corniche 

With spectacular performances, concerts, art, culture, and storytelling, the seven-kilometer-long Corniche, which runs from Sheraton Park to the Museum of Islamic Art, will be turned into the nation's international street carnival. 

What to expect: The venue will have 70,000 seating capacity with more than 150 food stands, 4 live stages, and a Bedouin village. Every day at The Corniche, a water and fireworks show dubbed "Welcome to Qatar" will be displayed. Qatari composer Wael Binali, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack will all contribute to the music. 

The event will comprise of:

• 1 million+ attendees
• 150+ food outlets
• 4 live stages

From November 19 through December 18, 2022, this fan activity will be accessible. The business will be open from noon to late. Fans may use the West Bay Qatar Energy Metro station, Souq Waqif Metro station, and Corniche Metro station.

FIFA Fan Festival - Al Bidda Park 

Fans from all around the world converge to the FIFA Fan Festival to share their feelings and appreciate the special atmosphere of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The location of the venue will be halfway between West Bay and the Souq Waqif. It will be accessible on foot along the Corniche as well as by the metro stations Corniche, Al Bidda, and The White Palace.

What to expect: There are several other entertainment highlights during the FIFA Fan Festival. Fans may take advantage of the following in addition to viewing all 64 FIFA World Cup™ matches in an energetic environment: 

• Prominent international music performers
• Local musicians performances.
• A food court 
• Fans of all ages may participate in interactive physical and digital football game stations as well as special football matches with FIFA Legends.
• Innovative sponsor initiatives

• An authorized FIFA Store with World Cup-related merchandise.

Over 100 hours of live music will be performed during the FIFA Fan Festival, and the first three headliners have just been revealed!

Lusail Boulevard 

From November 20 to December 18, 2022, anybody in Qatar can visit the Lusail Boulevard. 

What to expect: With live music and concerts, street performances, and parades, the Lusail Boulevard will be turned into a bright and colorful attraction at the center of the Lusail City. Tickets for entrance may be required for some site activities. 

The event will include:

• 60,000 capacity
• 50+ food outlets
• 3 km boulevard

To get to the fan activation, fans can use the Lusail QNB Metro Station.

Timing: 11 pm - 12 am

Hayya Fan Zone – Lusail Promenade 

The Hayya Fan Zone will feature an open ice skating rink and ice ballet performances.

What to expect: There will also be a multimedia pavilion, live DJs, and performances.

The event will include:

• mega-screens with a 3,500 capacity 
• 64 games will be shown 
• ice skating rink
• Live DJs, local bands
• International acts
• Multimedia pavilion with 3D screen and jumbotron
• VIP area
• Great food options

The Hayya Fan Zone is situated near the Lusail Marina Promenade. To get there, fans may use the Legtaifiya Metro Station which is on the Red Line.

MDLBEAST Presents: Aravia – Al Wakrah 

What to expect: With a capacity of 55,000 dance music enthusiasts, the event will include 56 stunning performers, 160 hours of worldwide shows, and top international artists as well as rising regional stars. Some of artists to be featured are Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Offset, Steve Aoki and Afro Jack. The location will also have stunning and recognizable stages for an immersive experience. 

The event will include:

• 5,500 capacity
• 56 acts
• 160+ hours of shows

For entry to this event, entrance tickets are required. The Al Wakra Metro Station is available for use by attendees of Aravia.

Timing: 8 pm - 2 am

Arcadia Music Festival – Ras Bu Fontas 

Arcadia Music Festival, will be held at Ras Bu Fontas.

What to expect: It welcomes fans with its A-list lineups from the international stage of techno and house music. The event, which can accommodate 15,000 people, will also feature the recognizable fire-breathing Spider and a lineup of well-known performers and DJs from across the world. 

The event will include:

• 15,000 capacity
• Internationally renowned artists and DJs

For entry to this event, entrance tickets are required. To get to this location, visitors can use the Ras Bu Fontas Metro station on the Red Line.

Date: November 19 - December 16, 2022

Timing: 10 am - 5 am

Al Maha Island 

Al Maha Island is prepared to offer exciting activities for families, adding to the celebrations in Lusail City.

What to expect: Along with more than 50 attractions, a theme park will also be built, with a 395-meter-tall rollercoaster. There will also be upscale eateries, bars, and beach clubs. 

The event will include:

• 14,000 capacity
• 50+ attractions
• Ticketed

Off the coast of Marina and Tarfa Lusail is Al Maha Island. Starting on November 1, 2022, it will be operational and able to house 14,000 people. A ticket for admission is required.

Qetaifan Beach Fest – Qetaifan Island North 

During the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the month-long QetaiFAN Beach Fest will take place at the legendary Qetaifan Island North in Lusail and feature performances by French Montana, CeeLo Green, Alex Sensation, Ryan Castro, Oxlade, and DJ-Twins. 

What to expect: There will be a beachfront festival of "music, football, food, and fun" that is open from 10 am to 4 am. There will be six on-stage performances each day by over ten top-tier international artists as well as numerous off-stage performances throughout the month and daily DJ sessions from 50 top-tier international DJs. More artist announcements are expected soon.

Location: Qetaifan North Island

Date: November 1, 2022 onwards

Timing: 10 am - 4 am 

Passenger overflow areas at Qatar airports 

Various activations are in place in the passenger overflow areas designated within the airports. These are considered to be fan zone areas as well. There will be on-going performances and parades. There will be two Fan Zones at Hamad International Airport (HIA) which will allow passengers to watch FIFA matches and engage in AR football activities. A designated ‘Kids Zone’ for young travelers has been set up. Around 22 themed performances will be held across the match days.
