In collaboration with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), Aspire zone Foundation (AZF) hosted the “Pink Walk” on the 31^st of October 2020. The goal of the event was to create awareness of breast cancer in relation to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to also promote a positive and healthy lifestyle amongst the community of Qatar.

Taking place at Aspire Park Doha, the event started at 3 pm and finished at 6:00 pm with 50 participants. The “Pink Walk” featured a 2 km walk around the park and participants were split into two rounds, each consisting of 25 individuals.

 The Aspire Zone Foundation staff also participated in the walk to ensure that all participants followed the procedure during the event. Furthermore, measures were taken to ensure the safety of all participants, including temperature and Ehteraz checkpoints.

Booklets and gifts were distributed to all the participants by Qatar Cancer Society during the event. Moreover, a small booth was organized to create awareness for breast cancer and answer the questions of visitors in the park.

Aspire Zone Foundation is a sports organization that focuses on promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among all community members, in line with the Human Development Pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to create a physically and psychologically healthy population for a well-rounded society.
