Qatar, which is already home to the world-famous Museum of Islamic Art, is soon going to add another golden feather to its cultural cap.
Qatar is set to formally open the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) on March 28, 2019, reported Gulf Times.
The NMoQ’s official Twitter handle tweeted about the opening date to make it formal.

The museum building — designed by famed French designer Jean Nouvel who is a winner of the Pritzker Prize — on the Doha Corniche is forged using an interlocking disc design inspired by the Qatari desert rose, according to The Peninsula.
Once the museum formally opens, there is little doubt that it will become yet another glowing tribute to the country’s enduring love affair with history and the arts.
