Qatar Petroleum has changed its brand name and logo, reflecting a new brand identity and strategy that will focus on energy efficiency and environment-friendly technology such as CO2 sequestration.

Now known as QatarEnergy, the company's brand name was revealed by the Minister of State for Energy HE Saad Sherida Al Kaabi in a press conference that took place today. Moreover, the company also has a new slogan – ‘Your Energy Transition Partner’.

In addition to these changes, the company has also changed the official Twitter handle to '@qatar_energy'.

Furthermore, the company’s employees were the first to hear of the change, followed by a video revealing the new brand identity to the public.
