A vibrant Ramadan experience is set to showcase Qatar’s rich traditional heritage, highlighting authentic crafts and attire alongside immersive soundscapes featuring traditional songs and Garangao chants. The event offers visitors a unique opportunity to celebrate and connect with the nation’s cultural legacy in an engaging and festive atmosphere. Taking place from February 25 to March 3, 2026, the Ramadan event will run daily from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Ramadan at Old Doha Port


Old Doha Port is hosting a vibrant lineup of Ramadan events throughout the holy month, including the Throwback Food Festival at Mina Park (daily, weekdays 5:30 pm – 2 am, weekends 5:30 pm – 3 am), the traditional Ramadan Cannon at Iftar at Mina Park (daily at sunset), and Musaher Al Mina in Mina District (daily, 10 pm – 11 pm). Special highlights include Garangao Night on the 14th day of Ramadan (after iftar until 9 pm), Wada’a Ramadan during the last four nights (10 pm – 11 pm), and the Ramadan Classic Car Parade every Thursday and Friday (3:30 pm – 5 pm), offering a festive mix of culture, tradition and waterfront experiences.

Ramadan 2026 celebrations at Katara Cultural Village


This year's Ramadan lineup at Katara Cultural Village is diverse, blending spiritual, cultural, and recreational events. The Drama Theatre in Building 16 hosts Islamic devotional songs all month, adding a spiritual touch to evenings. Theater activities across Katara's facilities offer artistic experiences that enhance the Ramadan atmosphere. Katara will hold a Holy Qur'an memorization contest for children at its mosque during the month, emphasizing its role in promoting spiritual values and connecting generations with the Holy Qur'an. The southern area of the venue will feature the Ramadan cannon, a prominent ritual that attracts wide public interest. Katara will also celebrate Garangao Night during mid-Ramadan, highlighting traditions rooted in social memory. Katara's Ramadan agenda features interactive tournaments like a chess championship, along with diverse events and exhibitions, to be announced consecutively, reflecting visitors' varied interests.

Ramadan at Education City

Education City offers a vibrant programme of Ramadan activities, combining spiritual, cultural, and sporting experiences. Visitors can attend Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers and religious talks at Education City Mosque, take part in Ladies Only Ramadan Sports Nights and various tournaments, join creative Herfah workshops, explore Torba Market – Ramadan Edition, and participate in the weekly Sports For All Ramadan Challenge every Thursday.

Old Souq Bazaar at Tawar Mall

 


Old Souq Bazaar embodies a feeling deeply rooted in heritage, celebrating tradition and community spirit. Ramadan Bazaar 2026 at Heenat Salma


Heenat Salma Farm is hosting Ramadaniyaat Heenat Salma, a month-long celebration blending heritage, creativity, and community in a serene natural setting. Visitors can enjoy hands-on workshops such as lantern making, sadu weaving, pottery, and incense crafting, alongside farm experiences, live performances, wellness sessions, and open-air cinema. The programme also features a Ramadan Bazaar, family-friendly activities, cultural shows, culinary experiences, Garangao celebrations, and special weekly highlights, while Iftar and Suhoor under the open sky offer a memorable farm-to-table experience that brings reflection and connection to the heart of the holy month.
