VACANCY – CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
PPT – Qatar
Position: Construction Engineer
Location: Doha, Qatar
Company: PPT – Sports Facilities & Sports Flooring
PPT is a Qatar-based company specializing in the construction of sports facilities, sports flooring and related infrastructure works. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Engineer to join our team in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage construction activities on site.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Monitor project progress, quality, manpower and materials.
Review technical drawings, method statements and material submittals.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and coordinate site inspections.
Ensure compliance with project HSE and quality requirements.
Coordinate civil works, sports surfaces and associated infrastructure.
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and resolving technical/site issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
Experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
Valid Qatar engineering registration/certification is required.
PPD certification in Qatar is highly preferred / required.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications and site supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively.
Experience in sports facilities, sports flooring, artificial turf or landscaping works is an advantage.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Primavera/MS Project is an advantage.
Valid Qatar ID and transferable visa/NOC will be an advantage.
