Electrical CAD Draftsman

A reputed company in Qatar urgently requires a Electrical Draftsperson for an assignment supporting MNC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠  ⁠Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings for electrical, protection, relay, control and automation panels

•⁠  ⁠Develop panel general arrangement drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, terminal plans and interconnection drawings

•⁠  ⁠Incorporate engineering comments and maintain accurate drawing revisions and as-built documentation

•⁠  ⁠Coordinate with electrical and automation engineers to ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards

Candidate Requirements:

•⁠  ⁠Diploma/ITI qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory. 

•⁠  ⁠Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical drafting experience

•⁠  ⁠Good working knowledge of AutoCAD

•⁠  ⁠Experience in relay, protection, control or automation-panel drawings will be preferred

•⁠  ⁠Must be currently based in Qatar under husband’s or father’s sponsorship/family visa

•⁠  ⁠Should be available to join at short notice

Working Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

Monthly Salary: QAR 5,500–7,000, depending on experience and technical competence
