Fabricator

Responsibilities

* Carry out fabrication works as per drawings, sketches, and project specifications.

* Measure, cut, bend, fit and assemble metal components accurately.

* Perform fit-up of plates, pipes, supports, structures and frames before welding.

* Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings and basic layouts.

* Use fabrication tools such as grinding machine, cutting machine, drilling machine and measuring tools.

* Ensure proper alignment, dimensions and quality of fabricated items.

* Follow site safety procedures, hot work requirements and PPE standards. 

* Support fabrication, installation, modification and repair activities at site or workshop

Qualifications

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Fabricator.

* Experience in Oil & Gas, construction, shutdown, fabrication or industrial projects preferred.

* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings and basic layouts.

* Ability to perform accurate cutting, grinding, fit-up and assembly works.

* Basic knowledge of welding support activities will be an advantage.

* Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID.
