Key Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture gold jewelry according to customer or company specifications.
• Melt, shape, solder, cast, and assemble precious metals.
• Set diamonds and gemstones securely into jewelry pieces.
• Repair damaged jewelry, including resizing rings, replacing clasps, and resetting stones.
• Polish, clean, and finish jewelry to achieve a high-quality appearance.
• Inspect jewelry for quality, accuracy, and durability before delivery.
• Read and interpret jewelry designs, sketches, or CAD models.
• Operate and maintain jewelry-making tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of precious metals and gemstones.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and completed work.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and quality standards. 

Required Skills

• Expertise in goldsmithing and jewelry fabrication.
• Knowledge of soldering, casting, polishing, engraving, and stone setting.
• Ability to work with gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving and craftsmanship skills.
• Ability to use jewelry-making tools and CAD software (preferred).
• Time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Jewelry Making, Goldsmithing, or a related trade (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience as a Goldsmith or Bench Jeweler.
• Experience in jewelry repair and custom jewelry manufacturing.
• Knowledge of gemstone identification and handling is an advantage
