Joinery Foreman / Estimator

Location: Doha, Qatar

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and woodwork.
• Experience in factory production and site installation.
• Ability to prepare material calculations (take-offs) from shop drawings.
• Knowledge of material costing and production cost estimation.
• Good understanding of MDF, plywood, veneer, melamine, laminates, solid wood, hardware, edge banding, and finishing materials.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise joinery factory production and installation.
• Prepare accurate material take-offs from approved shop drawings.
• Estimate material quantities and production costs.
• Plan cutting lists to minimize material wastage.
• Coordinate procurement with the purchasing department.
• Monitor production quality, schedules, and labor productivity.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
