Senior ICT Engineer

• Performing relevant operations design review.

• Proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices.

• Reviews specifications, data sheets, and panel drawings and other control system documents

for Electrical, instrument, ICT and Telecommunications equipment and materials as

necessary for operation and maintenance.

• Assisting in the preparation of scope of ICT works from Operations and Maintenance point of

view.

• Ability to liaise, influence, challenge and interact effectively with other Engineers,

Departments, Providers and O&M Service Providers etc.

• Supports the Service Providers in Troubleshooting and problem-solving and performing other

tasks as deemed necessary as related to ICT and ELV - instrumentation and control systems.

• Understands all related Telecommunication protocols, instrumentation codes, standards and

best practices and their application to the project.

• Conducts periodic inspections to determine if works have been done in accordance with

contract specifications.

• Responsible to review & updating as-built drawings of all instrumentation related matters

• Ability to work with intelligent system protocols, Security Systems (Access and CCTV)

• Have a working knowledge of ICT systems including but not limited to firewall, switches,

routers, cyber security, SCATS,SCADA,PLC systems, CCTV system, VMS, Incident

response, disaster recovery, centralized operations, Parking Management systems, BMS etc.

• Hands on knowledge on cyber security requirements for operational technology systems

• Responsible to produce progress reports and data analysis

• Coordinates with contractors in the process of installation of systems. Supervises

commissioning activity on systems including loading software programs and implementing

modifications as necessary

• Proficient in Computer Aided Facilities Management Software CAFM

• Ability to use diagnostic program and other applicable diagnostic software and equipment.

• Ability to manage command center related activities including technology management,

escalation of issues, stakeholder management, video wall management etc.

• Excellent understanding of servers, switching, routing etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecom, instrumentation and controls engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar of large projects with a high management experience.
