About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced, qualified Site/Project Engineer immediately.
This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for a seasoned engineer who is equally comfortable on-site managing execution as they are in the office coordinating with clients, consultants, and suppliers. If you have a strong technical background, sharp commercial instincts, and a track record of keeping projects on time, on budget, and to specification — we want to hear from you today.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project timelines
• Manage and supervise subcontractors across painting, flooring/epoxy, fit-out, and FF&E works
• Ensure all site work is executed strictly in accordance with agreed terms and conditions with both clients and subcontractors
• Uphold quality standards on-site, identifying and resolving issues before they escalate
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and vendors to keep projects moving smoothly
• Lead and support negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors on pricing, terms, and scope
• Track and report on delivery timelines, flagging risks to schedule early and proposing solutions
• Prepare clear, accurate site reports, progress updates, and documentation for management and clients
• Handle data entry and project documentation using MS Office (Word, Excel, PDF)
• Support business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships
• Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring professionalism and responsiveness at every touchpoint
• Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to support efficiency in reporting, drafting, and data organization
• Follow instructions from management accurately while using sound engineering judgment on-site
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, ideally across painting, flooring/epoxy, fit-out, FF&E, or general contracting works
• Qualified engineer (civil, mechanical, or related discipline) with a recognized engineering qualification
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and site execution independently
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and specification compliance
• Solid negotiation and vendor/supplier coordination skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable working with PDFs
• Basic working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT
• Fluent in English, Arabic, and Hindi — spoken and written proficiency required across all three
• Valid Qatar driving license — mandatory
• Valid Qatar residency visa with NOC — mandatory
• Clean criminal record — mandatory, verifiable
Additional Qualities We’re Looking For
• Strong leadership presence on-site — someone subcontractors and workers respect and follow without hesitation
• A sharp eye for detail, particularly around finishing quality in painting, coatings, and fit-out work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs confidently
• Calm, solutions-focused approach when problems arise on-site — someone who fixes issues rather than just reporting them
• Strong time-management skills, capable of running multiple active sites/projects simultaneously
• A commercially minded engineer — someone who understands that technical decisions have cost and schedule implications
• Excellent communication skills across all levels, from site labor to senior client representatives
• A proactive, self-starting attitude — comfortable taking ownership without needing constant supervision
• Experience preparing or contributing to variation orders, claims, or cost justifications is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with Qatar’s construction regulatory environment and standard project documentation practices
• A professional, presentable, and client-facing demeanor
• Physically able to conduct regular site visits, including movement across active construction/fit-out environments
• A long-term, career-minded outlook — we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us, not just fill a position
Why Join Us
• Immediate start available for the right candidate
• A stable, well-established company with a diversified, active project pipeline across multiple disciplines
• Real ownership and autonomy on-site, backed by direct access to senior management
• Broad exposure across painting, flooring, fit-out, FF&E, and general contracting — a genuine career-building opportunity
• Competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience
• A company culture built on trust, quality, and long-term relationships — with clients, suppliers, and employees alike
