Job Purpose
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations of AOC by ensuring the accurate receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and dispatching of products and materials. The role requires maintaining proper inventory records, ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized, and supporting the smooth and timely movement of stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and verify incoming products and materials against delivery documents.
- Properly store and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare products accurately based on sales orders and internal requests.
- Pack products securely and ensure they are ready for dispatch or delivery.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods while handling products carefully.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
- Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic inventory checks.
- Report damaged, missing, or mismatched items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Ensure products are stored safely and systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Support the preparation and movement of stock between the warehouse, AOC stores, and other designated locations.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Retail, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements.
- Follow established warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse and operational activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous warehouse, stock handling, retail, or logistics experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain simple stock records.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
