25th International Book Fair
The 25th edition of the Doha International Book Fair opened on Wednesday to the public at Qatar National Convention Centre.
The fair will run from January 7 - 17, 2015 and will be open to the public from 9 am - 1 pm and 4 pm - 10 pm. On Fridays it will be open from 4 pm - 10 pm only.
The fair will be accompanied by cultural events and programmes such as arts exhibition, musical and theatrical shows, children activities and intellectual forums.
A large area of the exhibition is allocated for the best seller foreign books in America, United Kingdom, besides academic and children books.
this year’s edition would focus on the Arab culture with a good number of culture forums held in the evenings on the sidelines. In addition, a good number of foreign titles and arts programmes will be featured at the event.
