Doha Environmental Actions Project, DEAP Qatar takes you to Al Arish Beach this Friday for cleanup and Iftar on the beach at the beautiful Qatari Heritage Village of Al Arish. This is a kid and family-friendly activity.

Date: Friday, 8th of April 2022

Timings: 4:30 PM - 6 PM

AGENDA:
-4:30pm arrival to the cleanup location.
-4:30-5:30pm cleanup activities.
-5:30-6:00 pm social time, enjoy a beautiful sunset, have Iftar at the beach. People depart whenever they want.
-6:00pm end of the event.

- Let them know how many people are coming with you. They will send you a confirmation message if there are enough spaces available, including the exact cleanup location.

DETAILS / WHAT TO BRING:
-TRANSPORTATION: SUV preferred the last 100 meters get a little bumpy.
-Green Ehteraz is required. Wearing a face mask at the cleanup is OPTIONAL.
-Bring your QID or passport. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
-Bring your own gloves, work or gardening gloves are recommended. Bags will be provided.
-Dress PROPERLY: Be respectful of local culture. Shoulders covered, no small shorts. Long shorts or pants are preferred. Don’t forget sun protection.
-Bring your own food and drinks. We encourage people to bring reusable water bottles and food that’s not too heavily packaged so we can produce less waste (practice what we preach). You can bring food to share if you wish. Bring enough water to drink. It’s getting hot 
-There are NOT any toilets or facilities on site. There’s always a petrol station along the way 

***Every participant/volunteer acknowledges that not DEAP, nor any of its volunteers is responsible for the actions, the consequences of these actions, and the well being of participants en route, during, and after the cleanup. All volunteers acknowledge the risks associated with the cleanup and being outdoors in nature and the wilderness. All responsibility relies on each volunteer attending the cleanup.
