Desert Safari, Stargazing & Camping
Throughout the sustainability week, 365 Adventures invites residents of Qatar on three different outdoor experiences to discover and explore Qatar's hidden treasures and sights. Our event aims to provide unique adventures mixed with sight-seeing and memorable guided tours to areas that have not been discovered our way yet! From a desert dune bashing and camping experience to an architectural and heritage exploration tour in the west to simply catching the sunset on a kayak in the mangroves forest right after a guided tour at the Northern heritage sites, 365 Adventures will help you escape, explore, experience and give back in an adventurous way.
Camping, Dune Bashing and Stargazing at the in-land sea
18th November - Friday
Pick-up location - Family Food Center, Old Airport Road - we will leave from there at 2PM
250 QR per person
This is a unique experience which combines adrenaline, relaxation, sight-seeing and community building activities. Our tour guides will pick up the guests from an agreed location in Doha and head straight to Sealine beach (on our way, the tour guides will pass by the fertilizers industries to show our guests a visualization of Qatar's fertilizer industry). We stop at the Sealine beach for an Arabic coffee and camel riding activity, after which, we head for dune bashing in 4x4s with trained drivers - a complete 3 hours adventure of dunes in 4x4s. We will stop at the in-land sea where our organizers will set-up the camping tents and majles carpets for our guests to experience sunset while swimming and a beautiful star-sight along with a view of Saudi mountains just 500m away. BBQ, bonfire and camping lights will then be lit for dinner and light entertainment. This is also a family friendly tour with food served including water and soft drinks. The price for this is 250 QR per person. We arrive back in Doha before 10PM.
