Our six film series will take place from September 21 to 26 at the Katara Drama Theatre and Opera House, and includes iconic titles like Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ and Vittorio De Sica’s ‘Bicycle Thieves’.
On September 23 acclaimed composer, Deborah Mollison, will host a masterclass on the use of music in cinema and her journey to becoming a film composer.
The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will also perform a concert of famous film scores and provide live accompaniment to a very special screening of Fritz Lang’s ‘Metropolis’. Tickets for both these events are available at qatarphilharmonicorchestra.org
