Katara Doha Film Institute Cinema will be screening 'Ilo Ilo' this weekend at Katara Drama Theatre. Screenings will be held November 15-17 every eveving at 7pm.
About the film
Set in Singapore, ‘Ilo Ilo’ chronicles the relationship between a family of three and their newly arrived maid Teresa, who like many other Filipina women has come in search of a better life.
The entire family needs to adapt to the presence of this stranger, which further threatens their already strained relationship.
