Enjoy Free Admission to all ongoing Qatar Museums exhibitions by Virgil Abloh, Jeff Koons, Kader Attia & Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams throughout March. 

Visitors are invited to enjoy free admission to a number of ongoing exhibitions including Jeff Koons: Lost in AmericaVirgil Abloh: Figures of Speech; Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams; and Kader Attia: On Silence. Moreover, art enthusiasts of all ages are invited to discover Qatari architecture through workshops and tours, among other culturally inspiring activities this month hosted at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).

Qatar Museums Gallery Al Riwaq: Jeff Koons: Lost in America

Over 60 artworks, comprising sculptures and paintings with mirrored surfaces, depict the eminent American artist’s four-decade-long career, offering visitors a unique look into his memories, influences, and fascination with American visual culture.

Visitors embark on an immersive journey featuring more than 55 works from the late American artist’s diverse pioneering media practice traversing visual arts to music, fashion, architecture, and design. The exhibition encourages dialogue reflected through Abloh’s inventive use of language and quotation marks, illustrating objects and people in his works as ‘figures of speech.’ 

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art: Kader Attia: On Silence

Shining a spotlight on Attia’s two-decade-long artistic career through thought-provoking installations, sculptures, collages, among others, this solo exhibition engages the audiences to reflect on issues of heritage and aspiration, convention and transgression, colonialism and liberation, the local and the transnational. These, in addition to debates on ecology and our material and non-material relationship to the universe, are echoed in the artist’s works.

Dazzling design and fashion creations, including exquisite outfits graced by royalties and celebrities, enthrall audiences at the first-of-its scale and ambition fashion exhibition in the Middle East. Exclusive Dior ensembles from Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser’s private collection among other stunning haute couture dresses and works from the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris make this retrospective an unmatched experience for visitors.
