Visitors are invited to enjoy free admission to a number of ongoing exhibitions including Jeff Koons: Lost in America; Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech; Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams; and Kader Attia: On Silence. Moreover, art enthusiasts of all ages are invited to discover Qatari architecture through workshops and tours, among other culturally inspiring activities this month hosted at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).

Visitors embark on an immersive journey featuring more than 55 works from the late American artist’s diverse pioneering media practice traversing visual arts to music, fashion, architecture, and design. The exhibition encourages dialogue reflected through Abloh’s inventive use of language and quotation marks, illustrating objects and people in his works as ‘figures of speech.’

Shining a spotlight on Attia’s two-decade-long artistic career through thought-provoking installations, sculptures, collages, among others, this solo exhibition engages the audiences to reflect on issues of heritage and aspiration, convention and transgression, colonialism and liberation, the local and the transnational. These, in addition to debates on ecology and our material and non-material relationship to the universe, are echoed in the artist’s works.
