Leshta Winter Festival - EVENT CANCELED
The Cultural Village Foundation “Katara” will organize the second annual Leshta (Winter) Festival from January 22 to 26, 2015 on Katara esplanade 4-10 pm.
The five-day festival will see the participation of several Qatari centers and institutions with events and activities focusing on education, awareness and entertainment.
It will also include a number of workshops and traditional game shows performed by a group of children on Katara beach.
The term 'Leshta' is traditionally used to mean winter people eagerly anticipate to engage in activities, including desert trips for hunting and entertainment.
