Qatar International Food Festival 2019
Qatar’s most-awaited food festival each year is taking place until March 30, 2019 at the Oxygen Park in Qatar Foundation (QF).
This year’s QIFF marks the festival’s 10th year anniversary and is being tailored to bring some exciting new elements on the scene in a modified format for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.
The Festival is taking place in collaboration between Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and QF, is the country’s longest-running food and beverage tradition that combines culinary arts with family entertainment.
The QIFF 2019 is a food lovers’ haven with about 150 F&B stalls spread over three dedicated areas at one of the most gorgeous and picturesque venues in Qatar, dubbed as the “Green Lung.”
At the Festival, area 01 is offering main course specialties, 02 is focusing on kid-friendly foods and activities and 03 is dedicated for cafes and light food coupled with private seating areas where pre-set menus are being served.
Over the last decade, QIFF has grown as a festival and so has its contribution to the country’s thriving dining scene by attracting international chefs to open local outlets and support local businesses.
This year, the Festival has dedicated 15% of its spaces to up-and-coming entrepreneurs and local Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to provide them with a suitable platform to introduce their F&B offerings in the market.
