Qatar's 1st International Dragon Boat Festival

Qatar Dragon Boat is proud to announce the 2nd edition of the dragon boat competition event this season at the Grand Hyatt Doha on Dec. 4-5. What is a dragon boat race: Imagine 20 paddlers in a 12m long boat, paddling furiously in synchronization to the rhythm of the drummer in front and under the direction of the steer person in the rear and racing towards the finish line! 

Considered one of the fastest growing water sport  in the world, dragon boat racing emphasis on team work continues to attract paddlers of all age groups and background every year. The sport made it’s humble entrance in Qatar on Oct. 2013, and has grown from strength to strength each year.
