Summer Special – MIA Guided Tours

Every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday in August, 12:00 – 1:00pm
Beat the heat and enjoy a guided tour of the permanent collection at MIA every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday at 12pm throughout August. Our Museum Guides will walk you through the galleries and explain about the principles and development of Islamic art by engaging with the highlights of our outstanding collection. Stretching over 1400 years of history and three continents there is plenty to inspire at MIA; ceramics, woodwork, metalwork, manuscripts, textiles, jewellery and much more. This special summer tour is free of charge and booking is not required. Please meet our Museum Guide in the Atrium of the museum to begin your tour.
