The carnival, organized by the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) aims to raise awareness on water and electricity consumption in a rational manner in order to achieve water and electric sustainability.

The ambition of the carnival is to increase community participation in the goals of rationalisation while educating future generations about the wise use of water and electric resources.

The carnival will feature numerous activities for children, including game booths, painting, rides and others and will also offer a wide range of gastronomies. It will also include awareness activities for children for the public and private school students.

Tarsheed is the National Programme for the Conservation and Energy Efficiency, which aims to reduce water consumption per capita by 15% and electricity by 8% by 2022.
