Today's Lesson - Pearls from the past
Tickets are now available for "TODAY'S LESSON: Pearls from the Past" an original musical, performed by students at Northwestern University in Qatar.
The hour-long play will run for two days on April 20th and 22nd at the Museum of Islamic Art.
The story follows the journey of three unruly schoolgirls as they venture into the past when their classroom lesson comes to life. It explores themes of pearl diving, education and human growth.
The play is the final product for a creative collaboration course taught at NU-Q.
Ann Woodworth, professor of the course, describes it as a coming of age story, told over multiple generations, about people, a country and a culture.
The play will have four performances, two on April 20 and two on April 22.
