More than hundred kids from the Future International Football Academy (FIFA) had a day to remember as they toured and trained at Lekhwiya Sports Club's facilities on Saturday.

The training session at the Lekhwiya stadium officially kicked off FIFA's start to the 2016-2017 season. Several parents also attended the occasion and cheered on their kids.

To top it all of, the kids enjoyed a special meet-and-greet with Lekhwiya's marquee footballer, Chico Flores and head coach Djamel Belmadi.

Flores is a Spanish professional who has played for teams in the English Premier League and La Liga before joining the Qatari outfit.

Flores and Belmadi interracted closely with kids and posed for photographs with the whole academy.

"We have many more of these special initiatives coming to give all our children opportunities that they cannot experience anywhere else," said Simon Jennings, head coach at Future Football International Football.

The academy has additionally informed parents about a free coaching session on Sunday 16th October at Lekhwiya followed by a free entry to Lekhwiya v Al Sadd QSL game.
