Hi all, I'm planning a move to Qatar and would appreciate any insights from those who've lived there. What should I know about daily life, from finding a place to live to understanding local customs? Miriam, Very nice, you are welcome to the only heaven on this earth. You will even forget your own town in the first 3 months. No caution at all, be natural. Women get higher regards than the men in the all Arab Lands,. One point on dress sense, please be covered when out side. No issues, where you go, walk, shop, eat, join your colleagues, friends as you wish. No worries at all. Your colleagues and neighbours will guide you in the best way. You will be sticking to Qatar till May 2034 as of now. Keep smiling. Do your prayers regularly.
