Advice on Resigning in Doha
Just need a bit of advice on 2 things -
- If you resign from a role in Doha within 12 months of startting work, but finished probationary period, can your emploiyer charges you for visa expenses, flight and accomodation to start work?
- How soon can you reported abscounding?
The reason I ask is I have resigned from my role I started in Decemeber, but the compnay said athey will deducted all recruitment fees from me (visa, flight to Doha, first 3 months paid staff accomdation), can they do that?
Also, I will travel for EID, and then come back to complete the remainder of my notice period, but I am concerned they may report me abscounding while I am out the country, although will only be gone 2 weeks in total.
I would be grateful for any adice on this please?
