Anyone know a good bicycle repair shop
I have a mountain bike that makes a scrreeeching noise when I apply the brakes. Local bike shops only know to change and fix things. I dont think they know much about geared mountain bikes. I had to tell him more than five times to fix it properly and he still charged me extra for his mistake.
Please let me know where do you my fellow cyclist go to repair/maintain your bikes.

britexpat - You're right. I totally forgot to mention i have a bike with disk brakes
It all depends on the type of brake .. The screeching is usually caused by the rubber or pad not biting properly on the rim or disc. You should be able to tell by the wear. It probably just needs adjusting
muad-db - the person i bought the bike from advised me not to apply any oil.
acchabaccha - The gears are fine. Its the brakes that i am worried about.
Thank you all for your suggestions. Have a good day.
Wakrah ..... inner road is the best place for a bike to change into a good shape ...................
Try spraying the gears with WD-40 and see if this works out.
Just put some oil on the gears and tighten the brakes
Try Qatar Bike shop or Carbon Wheels
