The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Hamad Medical Corporation, and Primary Health Care Corporation have been working diligently to provide the COVID-19 vaccine in Qatar.

In a recent post, MoPH had announced that a major milestone for the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program has been achieved as over 81 percent of people aged over 60 have now received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Additionally, MoPH has announced the working hours at the QNCC vaccination center during the holy month of Ramadan for individuals who wish to receive their first or second doses of the vaccine.

Medical professionals from HMC have advised the general public, especially those of ages 60 and over, to register for their free COVID-19 vaccine immediately.

Here are the steps you can follow to register for your free COVID-19 vaccine.

Create your NAS account

In order to register via the Hukoomi portal website, you will first be required to create an account through the National Authentication System (NAS).

Firstly, head over to the NAS self-service website and select the register option. You will then be promoted to an ‘Account type’ page where you can choose the option based on if you are a Qatari citizen/ resident or a visitor and business representative.

Keep in mind that you be required to have a QID and mobile number as you will receive a code from Tawtheeq to finish your registration.

The next step is to fill in your personal information, followed by the creation of your NAS account password.

Once the account has been made, you will also receive an SMS confirmation on your mobile.

Register for the vaccine via Hukoomi

In order to register through the Qatar e-Government portal service (Hukoomi), you first need to enter the registration page and then click on the “Proceed to Sign In page”.

In order to register with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), you will be asked to log in with your NAS username and password.

Once you have logged in, you will be asked to fill in a few more necessary details that apply to you before successfully registering for your COVID-19 vaccine.
