I regularly get this annoying message from ooredoo in my android phone

Important update! Starting 1st of April all devices with the old internet settings will not be able to access the internet. To avoid an interruption in your service please click on the link to configure your handset.:

The problem is oordeoo doesnt not know anything about this when I called them, and the deadline in the message keep shifting- first it was December 1, Then February 1 now April 1.

Anyone has a clue? Is this a virus? How it can send message from ooredoo number?
