Provision for bringing 24 hour maid from India to Doha

Hi All,
Need advice on the provisions or pre requisites of bringing my 24 hour maid with me to Doha. What all official formalities need to be done, on what visa will they come here : can it be a sponsor visa or something else.. She will be staying with me only.

First, you need to come down and go through the process of getting your Qatar ID. You can then apply for a maid visa. To my knowledge, you cannot bring your maid along with you.
Both me and my husband will be having our work visa when we will shift there...but when we come there, would like to bring along my maid as well
The concluding sentence "She will be staying with me only" of your post is somewhat confusing. Do you have your wife and your children with you here on permanent visa?
