Anime is a beloved genre here in Qatar. Anyone who grew up living here will fondly remember the host of characters that kept them entertained on TV during their formative years.

Now a whole new generation is being influenced by the animation artform from the Far East. From artists to entrepreneurs, the Anime influence is perfectly capture with the new themed cafe that has opened on The Pearl.

Featuring a host of Anime collectables, and local artowrk for both sale and display, the Anime Cafe pays homage to the Anime greats including One Piece, Naruto, Death Note, and of course Pokémon and Dragonball Z amonst other.

With a themed coffee shop menu, you can enjoy everything from an Anime Latte to a Japanese cheesecake.

It's an experience like no other, but don't take out word for it. Head on down to The Pearl and see for yourself.

Driving to Pearl on weekends is a bummer, but it sure beats taking a a reminiscence therapy and feeding one's young geekism at this store... Not to mention the feeling of being bankrupt on the way out to Doha.
