By claradl

Hello. Does anyone know how many Kgs a person (not a company) can import to Qatar and what are the requirenments? I want to bring certain items from abroad and need to understand if I will have issues in customs.

thanks,

If it's for personal use you should be ok, but if you are importing for commercial purposes you need an appropriate license or have to go through a company. Check with the shipping company. Usually there is 5% duty.

Hey,

Not sure of the limits, long as you can pay the Customs Duty charges.

All goods imported into Qatar are subject to customs duties, based on a percentage value of goods (typically 5%), or a per unit basis. The value of goods is calculated according to the Regulations under the Customs and Ports Law.
