We, Chairs of KON W.L.L and all KON W.L.L members, have the honor to extend our wholehearted congratulations and wishes for Her Excellency Fatma Mohamed Rajab, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Qatar, for her new position as  Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

“Your accession to your new position as Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is a momentous event and a source of inspiration,” expressed KON Chairs.

The solid collaboration of the United Republic of Tanzania Embassy in Qatar and the strategic Partner KON W.L.L succeeded in promoting trade and investment by opening various opportunities for Qatari investors and the important role played by women entrepreneurs in both countries and how they worked together to improve the bilateral relations.

Tanzania Digital Business Forum 2020 organized by the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania with the collaboration of the strategic partner KON W.L.L outlined Tanzanian's opportunities existing for businessmen, incentives, and procedures.

During the Business Forum “Call for investment”, both KON and the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania discussed various investment opportunities, the potential partnership areas between business in Qatar and Tanzania since the economic and trade relations are increasing.

The efficient and prudent control of the Ambassador her excellency Fatma Mohamed Rajab helped the Tanzanian community living in Qatar to overcome the challenges with the collaboration of KON by introducing TA’ARAF program entirely tailored and designed by KON W.L.L and presented at the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania Chancery as the First Embassy in  Qatar in presence of Her Excellency the Ambassador and other Embassy Staff to promote awareness on different facets of life in Qatar and the progress made by the Qatar Governments in various fields.

Her Excellency Fatma Mohamed Rajab said, “We find the program extremely useful and very informative. I highly recommend the African communities in Qatar through their Embassies to participate and engage their existing and newly arrived employees, migrant workers in this program and help to raise awareness. The program is very entertaining as it not only covers the rules and regulations of the country but also covers things such as Qatar culture, entertainment, social activities, and sports."

The special bond of friendship and cooperation between the United Republic Of Tanzania Embassy in Qatar and KON W.L.L reinforced many relationships through our bilateral engagements, most notably through our Strategic Partnership and a  fundamental example for being the mother leader in strategizing with Private firms to enforce business diplomacy.

“It is our hope that, under your stewardship, our long-standing partnership and cooperation, based on our mutual interests and shared values, will continue to strengthen in many businesses, artistic and cultural areas as well as in others, especially during this challenging time of the COVID 19 pandemic," said Mr. Mohamed Massani Chairman of KON W.L.L.

"KON W.L.L will always work closely to further strengthen our cooperation and partnership at all business, arts, and cultural levels,  and with the new Upcoming ambassador to Doha. We will always make sure to increase all possibilities of cooperation and partnership in all areas for the mutual benefit of our two sisterly countries.

"We wish to assure you of our support and commitment to that end. We also look forward to reinforcing and diversifying our partnership with the new upcoming Ambassador to Qatar," said Ms. Hissa AlSuwaidi, Chairperson of KON W.L.L.

"Going above and beyond what is required of you can sometimes seem like a thankless task. but this time your hard work was acknowledged, and this promotion proves it. Your strong work ethic is what got you here. We are all so proud of you", said members of KON W.L.L.

We would also like to use this opportunity to extend our warm congratulations and warmest wishes to her Excellency  Samia Suluhu Hassan as the sixth and current serving president of Tanzania.
