Have you ever faced an internet speed drop while connected to a VPN?

By trisheva

Hello, I am Trish and I am mostly found sitting in front of my laptop or busy playing steam/multiplayer games online. The concern I have here is that if anyone uses a VPN to do so? Because I have heard if you use a VPN to connect to some particular servers or communities, you might get a ban. I have been using Ivacy VPN for past year now and haven't faced any such issue to be honest. But still I hear people say that a VPN does affect your internet speed and IP bans, etc. What's your say on this?

I don't think you will get a ban, for steam use killping, it's a dedicated multiplayer server that actually improves gaming latency for the most popular games.
