Enjoy Noche Criolla, the first in a new series by La Mar Doha, with a different selection of dishes featured on a monthly basis to showcase the rich history and diversity of Peruvian cuisine. This month, experience Noche Criolla at La Mar on the 31st of August. 

Each month, the La Mar culinary team will feature a new menu during Noche Criolla. With each selection of dishes, Executive Chef Frank Ponce pays homage to the diverse regions of Peru and the contributions of different cuisines from around the world to Peruvian cuisine. Look forward to a four-course set menu and a welcome drink while you enjoy live entertainment. 

Criollo cuisine holds a special place in Peruvian culinary heritage, representing a fusion of indigenous, Spanish, African, and Asian influences. It is a cherished expression of Peruvian identity and the country's rich cultural diversity. Criollo dishes are known for their bold and vibrant flavors, stemming from a harmonious blend of native ingredients like potatoes, corn, and aji peppers, along with Spanish spices and techniques. Criollo captures the essence of Peru's history and highlights the skillful melding of flavors from different culinary traditions, making it an integral part of Peruvian gastronomy.   

La Mar Doha recently took home the highly coveted award of Best Overall Restaurant in Qatar in the Fact Dining Awards 2023.
