We need to remember what's important in life: friends, waffles and work. Or waffles, friend, work - doesn't matter. But work is third - Leslie Knope, Park and recreation.

We have picked five places in Qatar that offer the best waffles that will melt your heart and satisfy your sweet cravings.

Chac’late

Chac’late tops the list as they offer the best waffles in Qatar. Be it with fruits, marshmallows or ice cream, no place beats the taste of the decadent waffles of Chac’late.

Located in a lovely setting in Katara Cultural Village behind the Katara amphitheater. They have a classy outdoor and indoor seating. The waffles are light, airy and just magical. Our favorite has to be the Belgian waffles with milk chocolate, strawberries and marshmallows.

You can also find a Chac’late kiosk in Aspire Park (from the Hyatt Plaza side). For menu and pricing, check out their website.

Location: Building 15, Katara Cultural Village, Doha

Nearest metro station: Katara metro station (red line)

Timings: Saturday - Thursday: 9 am - 12 am. Fridays: 11 am - 1 pm

Dip n Dip

The place for people with the highest degree of sweet tooth. The waffles here are offered with fruits, milk chocolate and ice cream and we can not decide which combination is the best because everything tastes so delicious.

Our pick: The Alaskan waffles come with a perfect blend of hot and cold served with vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate drip.

Locations: Medina centrale, The Pearl, Qatar. Mall of Qatar and Gulf mall

Timings: Saturday-Wednesday: 9 am - 12 am. Thursdays: 9 am - 1 am & Fridays: 1 pm - 1 am

Mazza

Really good things come in small packages and Maza is the best example of this with their decadent mini waffles. They have pick-up outlets and are perfect when you want to satisfy your sweet craving instantly. They offer warm delicious mini waffles and waffles sticks with a variety of toppings.

Our go-to pick: Mini Waffles with milk and white chocolate topped with strawberries. They also deliver round-the-clock! Check out their instagram for menu and pricing.

Location: Abu Hamour, Qatar.

Timings: Sunday-Saturday: 9 am - 3 am

Dippingo

Another popular choice for having warm and delicious desserts and of course waffles is Dippingo! The waffles come dipped in milk chocolate and extra divine milk chocolate too.

Our pick will be the milk chocolate waffles with strawberries that melt our heart and satisfy the sweet cravings in the best way. The ambiance of the cafe is cozy and the sweet odor of the deserts keeps you coming back for more.

Location: Villagio Mall, Al Waab, Qatar.

Timings: Sunday-Saturday: 8 am - 12 am

Häagen-Dazs

This is quite an under-rated spot for delicious waffles we think. The mouthwatering waffles they offer, though limited but are heavenly in taste.

Our pick: Waffle dream - a warm waffle with Belgian chocolate and icecream - gives us the perfect rush of hot and cool in our mouth. They have numerous branches around Qatar with cozy seating areas and great ambience.

Locations: Landmark Mall, Lagoona Mall, Doha Festival City, Mirqab Mall, Porto Arabia - The Pearl, City Center -Doha, Villagio Mall and the Mall of Qatar.
