Korean food is increasingly becoming popular in Doha, with many tasty, affordable options. 

There are many restaurants that serve Korean food, but here we have compiled different Korean specialty restaurants that focus on serving the many great authentic Korean dishes that customers love. 

1. Sol Korean Restaurant 

 

Sol Korean Restaurant is a small authentic Korean restaurant that is known for their wide variety of Korean food for decent prices.

Starters, main courses, drinks, they have it all. Opened in 2016, they have over 40 different dishes on their menu. 

Their menu consists of famous Korean dishes such as ramyun, gimbap, tteok bokki, yuk gyejang, bul nak jeon gol, etc. The drinks menu consists of ginseng tea, green tea, coffee, etc. 

Sol Korean Restaurant is located in the ground floor of Universal Suites Hotel Apartment in Al Jazeera Street, Bin Mohammed. They are also available on the food delivery app, Clicks. They are open from 11am to 11pm everyday of the week. 

Their dishes range from QR 15 to QR 130. Multiple servings are offered for the dishes priced at QR 130.

2. Yee Hwa

Yee Hwa Restaurant is a primarily Korean restaurant that also sells a few Japanese dishes. They are known for their all-you-can eat table-top BBQ. 

Yee Hwa has a variety of variations of many different dishes, such as soups & stews, rice & noodles, shioyaki, teriyaki, donburi, kare, bento box, shabu shabu, traditional maki, sashimi, sushi nigiri, special nigiri, sushi platters, temaki, fusion maki, and dessert. They have a wide selection of drinks as well, under cold drinks, hot drinks, fruit juice, mocktails, etc. 

Yee Hwa also offers all-you-can-eat buffets on different days. On Sundays, they offer a mixed all-you-can-eat, on Mondays and Wednesdays, an all-you-can-eat barbeque, and on Fridays and Saturdays, an all-you-can-eat barbeque and sushi. 

Yee Hwa is located in Al Kinana Street, and is also available on multiple food delivery platforms, such as Akly, Talabat, Foodak, and Snoonu. 

They are open from 12pm to 10:30pm everyday, except on Fridays, as on Fridays they are open from 12:30pm to 10:30pm. 

The food menu, besides the sushi platters, ranges from QR 45 to QR 180. The dishes on the more expensive side are for multiple servings. The sushi platters range from QR 90 to QR 180.

The desserts range from QR 8 to QR 25, and the drinks range from QR 8 to QR 25.

3. Maru BBQ 

Providing customers with fresh and authentic Korean food, Maru BBQ is a popular Korean barbeque restaurant for those who want to get a fresh, homemade Korean food fix. 

Maru BBQ has many unique Korean dishes and fusions in their menu. While covering the traditional items such as kimchi fried rice, ttoekbokki, bulgogi, bibimbap, they have other famous Korean variations of traditional dishes, such as kimchi pancakes, fishcake soup, haemul pajeon, among others. 

They also offer the famous Korean dates and cinnamon drink, which are rare to find in Doha. 

Maru BBQ is located in Building 43, Al Nour Plaza Luxury Suites. They are also available to order via their website, and are available on delivery platform, Talabat. 

They are open from 12pm to 11pm Saturdays to Wednesdays, 12pm to 11:30pm on Thursdays, and 1pm to 11:30pm on Fridays. 

The Maru BBQ food menu, excluding the Korean barbeque options, range from QR 45 to QR 220. Their barbeque options range from QR 100 to QR 590, which include options for multiple servings. The drinks menu ranges from QR 10 to QR 18 riyals.

4. Tofu House

Tofu House is a family owned restaurant where most of their dishes are recipes that have been passed down through generations. Their fresh food made with skill comes in huge portions, making it perfect for sharing with loved ones. 

Tofu House’s menu offers a wide range of appetizers, chicken items, beef items, seafood items, rice, noodles, stews, rolls, and beverages. Some of these selections include fried dumplings, seafood pancakes, soy glazed chicken, buldak stir-fried noodles, bulgogi bibimbap, jjambbong, spicy stir-fried squid, udon, kimbap, california crunch roll, bubble tea, and lemon iced tea.

They also offer an array of offers, such as group deals and buy one get one free offers, either random or based on different occasions. 

Tofu House has two branches located in Doha, in Bin Mahmoud and Mansoura. They also take orders on their website, and delivery apps such as Wishbox. They are open from 11:30am to 11:00pm everyday. 

Tofu House food items range from QR 15 to QR 50, excluding sides, which range from QR 5 to QR 20. The drinks menu ranges from QR 5 to QR 15.

5. Qokio 

Qokio is a specialty restaurant that primarily serves Korean fried chicken, along with other Korean dishes. With the various number of chicken items, as well as the wide range of items besides the chicken items, Qokio offers many different options to their customers. 

Their chicken menu consists of the sauced chicken selection, spiced chicken selection, half and half chicken, original chicken selection, and house special chicken selection. Under these selections comes items such as honey butter chicken, spicy curry chicken, suwon galbi chicken, qokio fried chicken, chicken katsudon, etc. You can also choose size and cut, add ons, and dipping sauces. 

The rest of the food menu consists of rice items, noodles and salad, fried tofu, fries, burgers and popular Korean street food. Some of the items under these selections are chicken fried rice, kimchi-slaw, chicken pho, honey butter tofu, crinkle fries, cheesy beef teriyaki fries, qokio bulgogi burger, fried japchae rolls, korean hotdogs, spicy chicken dumplings, and ttoekbokki. 

The desserts consist of bingsu original, bingsu green tea, and Korean ice cream. The drinks consist of bubble tea, iced tea, pudding milk tea, milkis, among others.

Qokio is located in Doha Souq Mall in Al Nasr Street. They are also available on delivery platforms such as Talabat. 

They are open from 12:00am to 1:00am everyday except for Mondays and Fridays, on which they are open from 12:00am to 11:00pm.  

The food items range from QR 7 to QR 99, excluding add-ons and sides. Some of these items are sharing items with multiple servings. The desserts range from QR 7 to QR 20, and the drinks range from QR 3 to QR 20.
