Doha Academy Schools recorded an overall increase in student enrolment, announces Al Faleh Education Holding Q.P.S.C.
Doha Academy Schools (wholly owned subsidiary of Al Faleh Education Holding Q.P.S.C.) recorded an overall increase in student enrolment of 15% from academic year 2021/22 to 2022/23, with a 27% increase in one of its branches for the same period. It is part of what the Company aspires to witness a renaissance in the number of students and financial performance during the coming years through new projects that will chart a new era of expansion and growth in the history of the company.

Doha Academy (DA) comprises three schools – DA Al Waab, DA Salwa, and Doha International Kindergarten – educating over 2500 students representing on average 55 nationalities. Male and female students are taught in separate classrooms from Year 6 upwards.
The school offers a British-based curriculum combined with Islamic teachings from preschool through to year 13. The school attracts students from Qatar and further afield including other Middle Eastern countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, Europe, The United States, Canada, and Australia reflecting diversity within the Muslim Ummah.
As of November 2022, Doha Academy Al Waab and Salwa Branches were fully internationally accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC), having already been awarded Qatar National Schools Accreditation (QNSA) earlier in 2022. In addition to meeting NEASC’s five exacting “Foundation Standards” covering Learning & Teaching, Leadership & Governance, Human Resources, Finance & Facilities, and Health & Safety, the schools were also placed on NEASC’s highest accreditation pathway “ACE Learning”. The ACE Learning framework is recommended to schools demonstrating the highest capability, capacity, and commitment to continuing improvement.
Education
Doha Academy is open to students aged 3 – 18 or Kindergarten to Year 13, and follows the national curriculum for England. The school prepares students for the University of Cambridge International and EDEXCEL examinations (IGCSE at Year 11 & AS Level at Year 12).
A key component of Doha Academy's blended curriculum is the development of personal learning and thinking skills. The school recognizes the importance of preparing students for a rapidly changing world, one where they will be expected to work in jobs that do not exist now and use technologies that have not yet been developed. Doha Academy equips its students with the tools to meet the challenges of the 21st century by focusing on flexibility and adaptability.
