Director of Public Relations and Communication at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Hassan Abdullah Al Mohammadi, said that the aim of the campaign is to enhance communication with the public, prepare school students to receive the new school year more effectively, and provide support to schools and educate parents and all those involved in the educational process.
The campaign includes a host of fun, educational, recreational, cultural and health activities in addition to highlighting safety and traffic tips.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Mohammadi termed the campaign as one of the successful initiatives of the Ministry as it seeks to enhance the abilities and capabilities of students and develop and encourage the spirit of competition and creativity.
This is done through the guidance and useful educational advice provided by professionals during the campaign and supports the educational system in Qatar in all its aspects for a successful start of a new academic year.
Al Mohammadi said that the cooperation of partners with the Ministry is the basis of the success of the campaign, where each party's input helps consolidate the educational and educational values among students and their parents, families, and all members of the community as well as schools.
While preparing students for the new academic year and providing them with the necessary advice, the campaign also stresses on the importance of moral and psychological readiness to start the academic year.
It also focuses on enhancing motivation for regular school attendance since the first day, in addition to encouraging the participation of parents and all the partners of the educational process in the campaign activities.
