Two new schools become part of QF’s education ecosystem

By QLNews

Qatar Foundation (QF) has played a tremendous role in advancing and providing top class educational experiences to students at all levels for the past 25 years.

QF is well-recognized not just in the region but across the world as a hub of scientific and educational collaboration, which stimulates idea generation, talent nurturing and knowledge sharing.

As it continues to build its education ecosystem, QF has welcomed two new schools under its umbrella of Pre-University Education (PUE).

The two schools that join QF are the Swiss International School of Qatar and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire.

In a statement, QF announced that these schools will become part of the portfolio of QF schools that cater to children aged six months through to high school graduates.

Presently, QF’s PUE comprises a student body of over 7,000. With the entry of the Swiss International School of Qatar and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire to the QF ecosystem, nearly 2,500 new students will be added to this.

This would further expand the QF school network that is focused on delivering quality education on par with international best practices.

Buthaina Ali Al Nuaimi, President of PUE, QF, said, “In the year that marks the 25th anniversary of Qatar Foundation, we are delighted that our ecosystem of pre-university education – which started with a single school – continues to expand in both size and scope, through this agreement with the Swiss International School of Qatar and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire.”

“These two schools perfectly align with the educational ethos of Qatar Foundation, not only in terms of their academic offering, but also their principles, beliefs, and values. They share our commitment to Leading Learning, and to providing personalized learning experiences that nurture the whole child, equipping them to expand their horizons and fulfill their potential,” she added.
