Rain for the weekend, and I'm to blame

I knew it would rain!
How? Because I washed the car yesterday and gave my garden a good soak.

So sorry everyone it's my fault.

Thunder and lighteneing here near the university and it's heading towards Doha. I just had my car washed too!!

Whahhahah...same thing with my Car, after 3 wks of neglecting my dirty boy, I decided to bring him in a Saloon (CarWash) and then it rained. NICE

Sometimes its cool to rain in Qatar because its unusual here but...OUR CARSwill have a mud shower too.

when it drizzling and sands get stucked all around, will do the car wash by Monday.

I love rains, it will continue for next couple of days, Allahamdullilah,

Very nice climate, everybody close their car windows, while I keep open my car roof top lid (not full) and even windows a little to enjoy the rain drops.

So that we can all plan our weekends lets ensure we notify each other of any special plans that we know will jinx the weekend.

So in the run up to friday and saturday no more -

Washing the car

Planning to go camping

spending the weekend on the beach

painting anything outside

Keep it to yourselves and hopefully the weather won't catch on and we will be fine.

who said that it started raining in desert from only a decade?! u mean from only 99! i live here from 2 decades and half and its raining since then ! it even used to rain more than this decate!

Guys before u wash ur cars cheack the 10 days forcast on weather.com! I knew it will rain from last week!

Yesterday my father didn't listen to my advice and he took the car for wash and while it was in the waiting line it started raining heavly! yea heavly like in UK! But when he decided to pull back the car the indians have already started the washing! QR 25 gone!

Happened to me the last time, i didnt wash my car for like 3 weeks and it had turned white with dust, went for a nice manual wash at Waqood and since i was happy to see her all shiny like new i tipped the guy 10 bucks..low and behold the very next day we had a dust storm, so now u can blame me for the dust storm :)

Good Fortune always comes knocking at your door...when you are sh*tting in the toilet!! :)

you could never expect rains in desert, it started just a decade ago...due to change in climatic conditions.

Even a drop is blessing from god.

It was rain again on Saturday evening around 5.30 to 6, for a short while but really great.

Got washed my car twice (Wed, Sat) but again same condition.

I've been to Carrefour and had the car washed, and bought some wax for later.

hahaha...everyone seems to have the same experience. had my car washed at Hyatt yesterday, was happy to see it shiny and clean... today the color turned to gray from its original color of blue. Dont mind though, love the rain, would wash it everyday if it means more rain.

When we were little we used to have rain that would wash the streets and move the cars. The drops would be so big that they would bend the wooden frame of the brolly. Pyromaniacs would desist from their fetish because the rain wouldn't allow fire to be lit..
