As the climate in Qatar finally witnesses a drop and heads into the winter season, now is the perfect time for parents to go outside with their kids.

Whether it’s exploring the sandy beach, going for a swim, barbeques, or just finding an excuse to finally get out of your home, this winter season is expected to witness several families enjoying their free time outdoors.

Outdoor activities can be an educational experience while also improving their mental wellbeing, in addition to being a great physical workout for your kids.

Parents can look forward to enjoying a cool breeze while listening to their children’s laughter as they enjoy their fun activities. With a variety of options for parents, we have put together of list of activities children can look forward to.

Kayaking

Qatar is home to many water bodies and unique mangroves that offer children the opportunity to learn how to kayak, canoe, or event rowboat.

Additionally, kayaking will allow children to learn more about the country's diverse ecosystem when visiting the mangroves.

Ride a horse

Parents can also sign their children up for a full or single course of horseback riding here in Qatar. These sessions will provide your kids with a new perspective and perhaps encourage them to pick up a new hobby/sport.

Scuba diving

If your children have never experienced scuba diving before, this is an absolute must-try. With their natural curiosity and affinity to learn new skills, children can make some of the best scuba divers.

It is recommended that children of age 10 and above who are comfortable with water indulge in this particular activity.

Play in the sand

Hit the beach, islands, or sea so that your kids can enjoy the wavy shores, pass the beach ball around or try to build their best sandcastle.

A trip to the beach can allow children to have unstructured playtime, thereby offering endless fun and learning.

Overnight camping

Camping season is almost upon us and offers parents the opportunity to head to some of the special camping spots in the region.

It's time for parents to clean their grills and pack up those portable chairs as this is an opportunity one must always take advantage of.

With camping season usually starting in October, kids can enjoy a cozy camping experience under the stars.

If you are looking to sign up for fun outdoor activities, 365 adventures is a fantastic start.
