1. Red Bull Qaher El T3ous 2019

Dates: March 29, 2019

Where: Sealine – Qatar Racing Club Track

Entry: Entry is free for all

Red Bull Qaher El T3ous is a unique desert-racing event for motorsport amateurs and Qatar’s dune racers to compete against each other, off the beaten track, on different tricky terrains.

Set in a knockout format, the competition is a demonstration of speed, skill, and strategy.

Prizes:

1st prize: QAR 20,000

2nd prize: QAR 10,000

3rd prize: QAR 7,000

What makes the race unique is that all audiences can witness the entire race, from start to finish line, right from the edges of their seats.

2. Johnny Lever Live – Doha 2019

Dates: March 28, 2019

Johnny Lever, whose unmatched comic timing has infused laughter in many Indian cinemas, is set to give an entertainment-packed performance for the very first time in Qatar tomorrow, March 28!

Double the excitement as he shares the stage with his daughter Jamie Lever.

The event will be held at QNCC’s Al Mayassa Theatre, organized by Millennium Entertainment Qatar and The Final Touch Entertainment India in collaboration with Mr. Hamad Al Amari. The renowned Indian comedian Gaurav Sharma will host the event.

 ‘Johnny Lever Live’ is a comedy show, which is a complete family entertainer and open to all the age groups.  All acts of this show will be performed in Hindi. All acts are simple and thought provoking and there is foul language, profanity, vulgarity or political content.

Johnny Lever is one of the first stand-up comedians in India. He won two Filmfare Awards for his outstanding work in Deewana Mastana (1997) and Dulhe Raja (1998). He started his career in 1984 and has acted in more than 300 Bollywood movies.

Jamie Lever is an Indian stand-up comedian, the daughter of Johnny Lever. She has performed at The Comedy Store, Mumbai from 2012 as a stand-up comedian. She has also performed on Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali on Sony Entertainment Television in 2013.

3. Aspire Wonderland Festival

Dates: March 26 - April 1, 2019

Time: 05:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Where: Aspire Park

Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) is hosting this exclusive festival around the shores of Aspire lake.

Aspire Wonderland Festival brings on show animated fantasy characters and also includes an imaginary gateway to the world of fantasy with the use of state-of-the-art lighting techniques.

If you want to revive your childhood memories, this is the right place to be. For children, this event is everything they have fantasized as they might spot their favorite characters.

The festival is an authentic mix of folk tales from the Middle East and the West.  3D designs will decorate Aspire Park’s lake with characters like Aladdin, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Cinderella. In addition, the festival is using the advanced lighting and sound techniques to transform Aspire Park into a dream world!

Visitors can also enjoy a spectacular display of fountains!

4. Qatar International Food Festival 2019 (QIFF)

Dates: March 20-30

Time: 03:00 pm – 11:00 pm (Saturday – Wednesday) and 3 pm to 1 am (Thursday and Friday)

Where: Oxygen Park in Education City, Qatar Foundation

Entry: Entry is free for all 

Qatar’s most-awaited food festival is running until March 30, 2019 at the Oxygen Park in Qatar Foundation (QF).

This year’s QIFF will mark the festival’s 10th year anniversary and is being tailored to bring some exciting new elements on the scene in a modified format for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.

The Festival is taking place in collaboration between Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and QF, and is the country’s longest-running food and beverage tradition that combines culinary arts with family entertainment.

QIFF 2019 is a food lovers’ haven with about 150 F&B stalls spread over three dedicated areas at one of the most gorgeous and picturesque venues in Qatar, dubbed as the “Green Lung.”

At the Festival, area 01 is offering main course specialties, 02 is focusing on kid-friendly foods and activities and 03 is dedicated for cafes and light food coupled with private seating areas where pre-set menus will be served.

5. Oscar Della Lirica

Dates: March 31, 2019

Timings: 08:00 pm - 09:00 pm

Where: Amphitheatre, The Cultural Village Foundation- Katara

Entry: 

The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara in collaboration with Verona per l'Arena Foundation presents Oscar Della Lirica: The International Opera and Classical Awards.

Katara is hosting this prestigious event outside of its home, Italy, for the second time.

More than 20 awards will be awarded to famous artists in Opera during the event.

6. Teddy Bear Mini Hospital for Children

Dates: March 17 - 30, 2019

Time: 10:00 am – 08:00 pm

Where: Doha Festival City

Entry: Entry is free for all

Doha Festival City, Qatar’s preferred lifestyle and entertainment destination has set up a mini Teddy Bear Hospital to help children learn about healthcare in a fun and innovative way.

The event started on March 17 and will run until March 30 at the mall’s Centre Court on the ground floor. It is free of charge. Parents can register their children anytime between 10 am to 8 pm.

Children can see their teddy bears undergo medical screening, followed by a visit to nine different stations comprising a waiting room, a nutrition consultant station, a surgery room, a dentist, an ophthalmologist, and a pharmacy clinic respectively.

Children will also get a chance to enjoy various giveaways from Mustela and Baladna, during the 14-day activity.
