Mall of Qatar and Harper's Bazaar announce celebrity line-up at House of Bazaar
The inaugural House of Bazaar, hosted by the Mall of Qatar and Harper's Bazaar magazine, will take place this week from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th. Some of the region's most well-known personalities, as well as a selection of Qatar's leading industry voices, will attend the three-day celebration of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, which will highlight Mall of Qatar's most exciting and luxurious retailers spanning fashion, beauty, and home interiors.
The much-anticipated inaugural event, which will take place on Wednesday, November 11th at the Luxury Galleria at the Mall of Qatar, will feature an interview with international trend-setter and entrepreneur Karen Wazen, who is credited with redefining the concept of the modern working mother. Karen's Instagram account has millions of followers and also appeared on magazine covers and now runs her own eyewear company.
On Thursday, December 12th, viewers will be able to watch a live lesson hosted by celebrity stylist Cedric Haddad. Cedric Haddad, the founder of #StyledByCed, is a personal and celebrity stylist for prominent personalities in the Middle East and abroad. His work has appeared on magazine covers, red carpets, music videos, luxury advertising campaigns, editorial shoots, and some of the region's most popular television series.
Maya Diab, the iconic singer, TV personality, entertainer, and fashion icon, will join Harper's Bazaar Publisher Bianca Brigitte Bonomi on stage for an in-depth talk to close out the evening. Maya Diab, who epitomizes feminine beauty and glamour, has achieved superstar status and visits House of Bazaar as a guest of honor to discuss her extraordinary career. The engaging and immersive House of Bazaar experience will also shine a spotlight on some of Qatar’s and the region’s most exciting talent including: Stylists Reina Bouchakra, Fatema Al Surour; Image Consultant Elisabete Reis; Designers TIIYA, Fahad Al Obaidly, Fatima Asad, Rina Saleh, Fatima Alqaedi, Rabab Abdulla, and Sonali Raman; Chair of Fashion Design at VCU, Christopher Fink; Beauty experts Afra Al Marri and Ajiad Al Rashid; Al Kass Sports’ Anchor Amira Al Jaziri; Interior experts Nesrine Mahjoob and Hanna Yacoub; leading sportswoman Mariam Farid; Jewellery designers Kaltham Al Majed and Noora Al Ansari; alongside Bazaar’s Nour Bou Ezz, Narges Raiss, Kim Wyatt, and leading international stylist and Bazaar Fashion Director Anna Castan.
The House of Bazaar, with its contemporary design and luxurious furnishings, is the ideal location to highlight the Mall of Qatar's must-have designs, significant new trends, and premium goods from stores. Guests will be able to mingle in the House Garden, tour the Styling Suite, and unwind in the Beauty Boudoir. The Spring / Summer 2022 collections will be brought to life through a dedicated program of expert-led panel discussions, engaging masterclasses, beautifully curated trunk exhibitions, and catwalks.
