The District brings a buzzing showcase of pop-up boutiques, artisanal shops, and more than 20 fashion shows and masterclasses along with a busy schedule of live entertainment under one roof.

Fashionista’s can catch a glimpse of the world’s latest couture and ready-to-wear collections by world-famous designers from Paris to Mumbai at Shop Qatar’s Design District. Sixteen designers from 10 countries will be showcasing their spring/summer collections 2019 on the Design District's runway.

Those who wish to discover the hottest makeup trends and pro techniques of makeup can enroll for the masterclasses and free workshops given by 11 renowned beauty influencers.

“The festival supports malls as well as independent retailers and local entrepreneurs by offering a platform to showcase their businesses and products." Says Noor Al Thani, Shop Qatar’s Project Manager. She also added, "The Shop Qatar Design District brings together the biggest names in fashion and makeup from the region and beyond all under the same roof, to cement Qatar’s position as an emerging fashion and style hub."

Kimberly Guthrie from the Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar commented, “It is a very exciting time in Qatar as both education and industry have a fresh focus on new opportunities to cultivate and celebrate creative and design talent as they work together to identify truly innovative and forward-thinking ideas and solutions to support the design, fashion, and art industries.”

While most fashion shows are free, seats will be made available on a first-register-first-serve basis, those looking for front-row seats can also buy tickets for some of the shows.
