On the topic of dogs in the UK
Some years ago I watched a programme in the UK in which two policemen from Hull were being interviewed. They narrated the oddest call they had ever attended, it was a domestic dispute.
Having arrived at the house in question, they observed a big dog sat on the step, they edged around it very warily and rang the bell.
The occupant of the house answered the door and let them in. The dog wandered in too.
During the discussion inside the house, the dog crapped (for want of better word) on the rug in front of the fire and nobody said anything about it.
When the dispute was resolved and the policemen were leaving, the occupant of the house said "aren't you taking your dog with you ?"
sounds typical too, never sh*t where you eat :) that dog knows
dweller... lol...the cake is free!
In which manner should I replied?
In favor of the street dogs or that hound, all by himself?
As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.
