In a recent conversation with Amna AlMuhannadi, we explored her upcoming event, hosted by the Zumra Group, aimed at empowering women in Qatar. The Morning Tea Meeting is designed to foster discussions on vital topics related to women's health and wellness. With a focus on creating a supportive community, Amna shares her vision of bringing together diverse women to connect, share experiences, and grow together.
 
1. What is this event about and what’s the objective of this Morning Tea Meeting?

This event aims to bring together women of Qatar for a morning tea, where we discuss various topics related to women's health and wellness, including physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Topics may include hormonal balance, gut health, financial awareness, etiquette, and more. The goal of this event is to empower women in Qatar through medicine, science, knowledge, and self-awareness.

2. Who is the target audience for this event? 

The target audience for this event is women aged 18 and older, specifically those facing personal challenges in their lives, those interested in personal growth, and individuals seeking a deeper understanding of life and knowledge. All women in Qatar are welcome to participate, regardless of their cultural backgrounds. We aim to promote diversity at our event.

3. What makes this event unique compared to other women's empowerment events in Qatar?

What makes this event unique is that we are building a community. We began this community a year ago, allowing women to meet, connect, and form friendships through engaging activities, discussions, and shared experiences at the event. Participants have the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and collaborate, fostering meaningful relationships that go beyond the event itself. Additionally, it provides a safe space for individuals to share their stories openly and with compassion. We also support women-owned small businesses by promoting their products.

4. What can the attendees expect to gain from this discussion? How does this meeting contribute to creating a supportive community for qualified women?

At the February event, attendees can expect to discuss core values. This discussion will provide women with an opportunity to identify their core values, which can make decision-making and choices in life easier. Understanding and acting based on one's authentic self can lead to personal growth and fulfilment. This event will help increase knowledge about the importance of recognizing and embracing one’s authentic self, contributing to the creation of a supportive community for qualified women.

6. What is your message to the women who might be interested in attending this event?

My message to all women is to not hesitate in joining our community. Throughout history, and in ancient times, women have formed various circles to share wisdom and knowledge with one another. Being surrounded by educated and wise women creates a strong sense of support and grounding.
